thanks for sharing justSid, I have listen to "tell me why" so many times already. that song blessed my heart this morning.I have heard most of these songs before and they are wonderful worship songs. I hope they touch everyones heart as they have mine.

I thought I would share something that happen this morning, while listening to "tell me why"
this morning started out pretty rough for me. My husband recently had a motorcycle accident and had an appointment at 10am, which I was grateful for because he had been in a great deal of pain during the night. My daughters golden retriever had an operation last week and has loads of stitches on top of her back and under her belly. As i was writing in my Journal a part of a verse from Titus1: 1 according to the faith of God's elect AND the acknowledging of the "truth" which is after (according to) godliness. I had stopped there because I was meditating on the "and" the acknowledging part. I have been going threw some things myself lately about healing and trying to understand why don't we have more "desire" to be healed by God. (I leave that one for another day) Anyway, my daughters dog (80lb GR) decided to leap across a chair at this point and fell to the floor in pain. she couldn't stand up and I raced to her side. Her whole body was trembling. I was at a loss to what to do, I couldn't lift her and I could see the swelling in her abdomen occurring before my eyes, my husband couldn't lift her either, with 5 broken ribs and torn ligaments in his hip. Again he had an appointment in just 1 hour. I called my daughter and told her to come to her dog and ask my husband to please go get dressed. He turned on some music for me and I held the dog in my arms as she looked up to me. I knew she had hurt herself really bad. i could see her under belly swelling, it was hard as a rock, I thought she might burst any moment. and she tried to stand and just collapsed again in my lap. I was just totally broken at this point this dog means so much to my daughter, and here we are, my husband bones are broken, i have been told I have cancer. I just laid my hands and head on her and cried out to God. Oh I was praying hard even from the beginning. Lord move, do something, help me, help my husband, help our dog. Tears were rolling. The song came on "tell me why" what timing...... My heart just can't take seeing people in pain. And I know the JESUS has the ability to heal. So I was sobbing and singing and asking all at once. Suddenly, my hands began to burn and I could feel the heat going into her back. I knew something was happening, but I can only say, I still don't understand.. All I know is I felt like praising, because I knew God had acted on behave of HIS mercy for her and HIs mercy for me. Oh did I need mercy, right then, right now. Oh praise God. Jessie (the dog) turned her head up at me and gave me a big long lick. and I swear the dog shuck her head up and down as to say yes. I still refused to let her get up, though I could tell she wanted to. When my daughter walked in the door with a blanket, expecting to have to carrier her to the car. Jessie the dog. just decided it was time to get up and wagged her tail and walked to the car for herself. I don't know what the vet is going to find, but they don't seem very concerned right now as they think she is just pulled something. they are going to wait till tomorrow to look at her. Oh well, I have confidence that the LORD has put something on her they might or I might never understand, but I saw this dog getting healing right before my very eyes...

i have been dumbfounded all day and all I can say is "receive OF HIM" He is the creator, He knows our sickness, HE can create and restore.
Can a dog "desire" healing, Oh she had a need and though she looked to me, I looked to HIM, He was all the help I had. And He came through for me this morning.. thank you JESUS. I wish I could explain more, but all I know, IS I found mercy!!!!

by the way.. The dog is doing great.. She will be home tomorrow.. Praise the LORD JESUS for HIS mercy..
